How many questions does the Language Arts GED test have?
In addition to the essay, the Language Arts section contains approximately 45 questions, although this number may vary slightly from test to test. Each question that requires you to choose two answers is worth two points, three-answer questions are worth 3 points, and so on A standard score of 410 on each individual test and an average score of 450 for the entire battery of tests is the minimum standard set by the GED Testing Service. Language teaching typically consists of a combination of reading, writing (composition), speaking, and listening.
If 80% of the score is represented by 45 questions, the other 20% – the essay – is equal to 11.25 questions.
