Which GED score is good for college?

Students who score 175 to 200 points in the GED College Ready plus College Credit range are very likely to be able to succeed in college-level programs. If your score is 144 or less, you failed this subtest, and regardless of your scores in the other modules, you also failed the GED exam. If you scored well in three modules but failed a subtest, you may have 580 points or more, but still failed the GED exam because you scored inadequately in one of the four modules (see table below). If you failed a subtest for the first time, you can still retake that subtest without having to repeat the subtests that you have already passed.
