Once you’ve been accepted, you’ll have so many opportunities to advance your education. Those in the first level have a high school diploma; those in the second level hold a GED, and in level three are recruits who hold neither. Each branch of the military has recruit tiers and classifies all recruits into one of three categories.

Can you join a branch of the military without a GED?

Each of the four major military branches has qualification requirements in areas such as height and weight, age, and academics. And like the Air Force, Tier II recruits in other branches have a higher minimum AFQT score. Officially complete the military design process if you meet all service requirements assessed by the MPS. The military is now allowing its recruits to attract young people who drop out of school and don’t have a GED for the first time in years.
